Private dance lessons are offered at The Movement Studio to those who are seeking a more customized dance experience on their own time. Both SINGLES and COUPLES are welcome. We will carefully pair you with one of our skilled instructors to design classes around your needs and interests.

Individual attention will be given to improving your technique, musicality, dance vocabulary and partnering skills, whilst giving you the confidence to dance well, with a different kind of music in any situation. You choose the dance(s) because the lessons will be tailored to suit your needs and interests.

Kids Dance Class

Baby Stars Dance Class

This class is a combination of dance and choreography.
It is based on an absolutely simple variety of movements that introduce the basics of dance, gymnastics, and developing motor skills.
Young dancers learn the basic steps and terminology while learning how to follow directions and imitate movement in a positive environment.

The purpose of the class is to introduce and inspire young dancers.

Wedding Dance

On your special day, you want everything to be perfect. We will make you feel and look great on the dance floor dancing your first wedding dance. You will feel confident and secure, knowing that you have the skills to move and dance.

No dance experience, no problem. We have taken couples with zero dance experience and gotten them to do amazing routines which even they could not believe they were capable of.

If you have particular dance styles that you would like to learn, we will customize your dance lessons to focus on those specific styles. If you don’t know which styles to begin, we will help you to choose the dance that works best depending on the style of your wedding and you first dance song.

Wedding dance lessons are also a great way to have fun and relax before and after the Big Day.

Breaking Class


TMS Breakdance is the #1 Break dancing program in Brooklyn. The program was designed to provide students with an easy step-by-step to learning fundamentals of breakdancing.

Breakdance it is a type of dancing which combines strength, momentum, balance, and creativity. A dancer performs very athletic movements that involve touching the ground with various parts of the body. (such as the head or back)

The group class consists of warm-ups, fun team building activities, practice time, routines, learning the history of b-boying/ b-girling, routines, videos.
